Reposition an object by dragging it

1. On the workspace, select the object you want to reposition.
   
   
2. Drag the object to another position on the workspace.

   As you drag the object, numbers on the status bar show the position of the upper-left corner of the object's selection box.

Tip   When an object is almost in place but needs a nudge, select the object, and then press an arrow key on the keyboard in the direction you want to nudge the object. To nudge the object in larger increments, press SHIFT and the arrow key.
